To start, you can clear up your background by creating stacks,  it is like an older that can expand and collapse and automatically sorts out your images for you.

Organizing your desktop is super beneficial, to have all your PDFs and images organized just like your doc. You  can use the same strategy, and create folders with classes that hold that subject's important material. This process can help you delete unnecessary items that you don't know you have too so that you save storage.

This is what I call a Post -it desktop. It's a bunch of post -it looking squares that are like notes from the "Stickies'' application. You can take notes, type out ideas, store any important information, have reminders, images, and all you may need. They are very accessible and help me so much, since they easy to see, use, and edit. Just to go a step further, I made a template to help them line up and make it visually pleasing. Instructions and templates are on this presentation:

I think this is the most time taking tip, but really is worth it. Take the time to create folders, one for each grade, and inside one for every class. Once it's organized, you should create the document inside the class folder, and it never has to go back to the mess of unfindable tings it was.

Your browser is such a handy resource, that I've noticed not enough people appreciate or use. By just clicking your bookmark, it takes you to that site, making them so effective and quick to use. They also can be organized like I did mine, so you have all your frequent sites there.

What to Add:

This Schedule template you can edit and set as your desktop like I do, if you prefer a clean look set it as Center, that way you can see the schedule fully.  Easily changing desktops to check on your next classes. This schedule can be edited to your liking, to your school schedule.

Homework Tracker is an extension, that is like a bookmark. Always accessible. You can add due dates and subjects to your homework or projects you need to complete, and are reminded how many you have. You can check them off once it’s done, and serves as a reminder always.
